iOS: Setting up Exchange ActiveSync (Email)

Summary

This article explains how to setup an Exchange ActiveSync account on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Contact the Enerfab help desk if you are unsure of any of the required information.

Follow these steps to setup your Exchange ActiveSync account on your iOS device:

1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account >Exchange.

 

 

 

 

2. Enter the information in the fields below.  The description can be whatever you want to name the account. Then hit Next:

 

  

  

3. Your iOS device will now automatically discover your Exchange Server.

4. Choose which content you would like to synchronize: Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. Tap Save when finished.

 

Note: To modify your exchange settings, Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select your Exchange account, and tap Account Info. If it fails to autosync, please follow the steps below.

 

If Exchange does not automatically sync, you can manually sync by doing the following:

1) Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > and choose the account the created. 

2) Click on the Account to view settings. 

3) Complete the fields as follow:

Email: your Enerfab email address

Server: outlook.office365.com

Domain: Enerfab.net (Optional)

Username: your Enerfab email address.

Password: your Enerfab network password.

Descritpion:  Set this to whatever you like.  It is the name that will show up on your device when you click on the mail icon on your phone.
